茨城県にある小さな里山で製作しています。

地元の製材所から出る端材や間伐材、

建築現場で出る端材などを、一つ一つ加工し

沢山の種類の木材を組み合わせてお作りしています。

 

SATOYAMA

「人と暮らしと環境をつないでいる

　全ては周りに回ってつながっている」

きっかけは地元。

地元を一度離れ他の地へ住みUターンで戻ってきました。

その時感じた自然の豊かさ、人の温かさに触れ、

 

私の住んでいる里山では森林が多く、

生き物達の生態系を守るのにも、

健康な森を維持するのにも適度な間伐が必要です。

 

そしてその間伐材の使い道が無く困っていることや

製材所で沢山の端材が出ること、

そこで働いている人達も捨ててしまう事に

もったいないと思っている事を聞いて、

 

そんな地元の端材達を使って新しいものへ変えれたら、

木に携わって働いている人達も新鮮な気持ちで

受け取ってくれたり原動力になれたら、、

 

 

それが全国の人のお家へ届き

買ってくれた人達も

温かい気持ちになれるものが作れたら幸せだな！

 

地元の小さな里山から始まったブランドですが、

全国へと届き周りにまわって地元にも貢献できたり

インテリア雑貨だけでなく

ワクワクするようなことにも繋がっていきますように、、、

 

 

The lack of the necessary thinning of my Satoyama has been becoming a problem.

The forests are overgrown and trees are getting thinner due to lack of sunlight.

The ecosystem is changing and it’s getting harder and harder for plants and animals to live as they used to.

The reason I started this project is because I want to make people happy by contributing to the health of our Satoyama.

I want some of the plentiful trees around my hometown to be able to be used by local businesses.

It may not be much but I hope to help the Satoyama that I love to prosper.
